DBSS_Database collection fails in case sensitive instances -
Description
After upgrading to a 6.1.X.X SQL Server cartridge, the DBSS_Database collection fails in a case-sensitive collation instances.
The Error messages look similar to the following:
ERROR [AGENTNAME-AD3-lowPriorityPool-1-[DBSS_Database][]]com.quest.qsi.fason.core.collection.processor.InstanceProcessor - Failed to run DBSSDatabaseProcessor processor of DBSS_Database collection.
Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Invalid column name 'TYPE'.

Mixed case used in collection query -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Please contact Support for a hotfix specific to the 6.1.2.10 SQL Server cartridge for this issue. The hotfix may require upgrading to the 6.1.2.10 level before applying the hotfix.
STATUS
This issue has been logged as defect FOG-4752 and has been fixed in the 6.3.0.10 and higher releases of the SQL Server cartridge -
