How to install LiteSpeed 5.0, 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 onto a Polyserve cluster -
Resolution
To install LiteSpeed on a Polyserve high-availability cluster:1. Open the Polyserve Management Console and confirm which node of the cluster is the host (active node) for the SQL instances you wish to install LiteSpeed on.2. Download the LiteSpeed installation program to the active node and begin the installation.3. On the "SQL Instances" page verify that the displayed instance names correctly match the names of the virtual SQL instances running on the active node of the cluster from which you are running the LiteSpeed installation. If not, edit the field appropriately.4. Finish the installation and registration of LiteSpeed.5. Open the Polyserve Management Console and fail over (re-host) the virtual SQL instances to the passive node of the cluster.6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for the rest of the nodes.NOTE: The installation process has been thoroughly tested on a Polyserve cluster and a standard set of backup and restore tests were completed successfully. Full support for Polyserve will be listed in the release notes of LiteSpeed 5.1.
