When installing Recovery Manager, if you change the default installation path, setup erroneously installs Recovery Manager to the default installation folder, which is %ProgramFiles%\Quest Software\Recovery Manager for Exchange.

WORKAROUND:
To install Recovery Manager to any other folder except the default installation folder:
1. Install Recovery Manager to the default installation folder (%ProgramFiles%\Quest Software\Recovery Manager for Exchange).
2. Manually create a folder where you want to install Recovery Manager.
3. Copy the entire contents of the Recovery Manager default installation folder to the folder you created in step 2.
4. Copy the Register.cmd file attached to this solution to the folder you created in step 2, and then run the Register.cmd file from that location.
5. Update the Recovery Manager shortcuts in Start | Programs | Quest Software as follows:
- Link the Recovery Manager for Exchange shortcut to the Rm-ex.msc file located in the folder you created in step 2.
- Link the Recovery Manager for Exchange Task Wizard shortcut to the EditTask.exe file located in the folder you created in step 2.
