Maintenance Plan is not creating a backup file using Litespeed. -
Description
Litespeed Maintenance plans are not creating backup files but no errors are generated. Or databases are skipped, no backup file is created.

Cause
Check if database is setup for Log Shipping. If the database is being log shipped or was log shipped previously, If box is checked to exclude Log Shipping databases, then the Maintenance Plan will not create a backup for that particular database.

Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Uncheck "exclude databases | Deleted Offline LogShipping " if you are trying to backup a log shipped database.
NOTE: Backing up a database involved with Log Shipping can break Log Shipping.
