When you run a task restoring items to a live Exchange Server, you may encounter an error message containing the following text: "Could not connect to mailbox <MailboxName> on server <ServerName>." This problem shows up when you have Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002 installed on the computer running Recovery Manager.
Limitations of the MAPI subsystem supplied with Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002.
WORKAROUND 1:
Use the Message Restore Wizard, Mailbox Restore Wizard, or Public Folder Restore Wizard to accomplish the restore operation.
WORKAROUND 2:
Install Outlook 2003 on the computer running Recovery Manager.
