ADAM replica and possible ways to determine if there is a replica installed -
Description
During troubleshooting there is often need to know whether an ADAM replica or multiple replicas exist and where they are installed.
Is there any easy way to find out if there is a replica or not? -
Resolution
Use ADAM ADSI Edit in usual fashion, open Configuration and navigate to CN=Sites, expand this node and find your Servers, there will be an entry for each ADAM replica, and the name of the server where replica is installed will be listed.
If there are no sub-folders between Inter-Site Transports and Subnets then there are no ADAM replicas installed, it is a single ADAM instance.
