Description
Does On Demand Migration (ODM) support the migration of data protected by Microsoft Purview? -
Resolution
At this time ODM does not support the migration of the Microsoft Purview Sensitivity Labels applied to the source data when it is copied to the target tenant.
Example: A source email that was sent with do not reply or forward and marked as confidential would be able to be replied to on the target tenant. If the email was encrypted in addition to any sensitivity labels applied to it. The email would not be able to be viewed on the target but the email could be forwarded or replied to.STATUS
A series of Enhancement Requests have been created for the product team to consider adding such functionality to a future version of ODM and at this time there is no ETA for these features to be supported during a migration.
