How are licenses counted in NME? (4345941)

In NME 4.6 and above, there are additional operations that trigger license consumption.

• One license is consumed by each of the following object types:
   - User
   - Resource
   - Mail-in database

• Licenses are consumed only once by running one of the following operations:

NME 4.5 and below:
- 'User Collections | Migrate User Data | Migrate users' (mail data, archives and personal address books)
 
NME 4.6 and above:
- 'User Collections | Provision'
- 'User Collections | Mailbox-enable existing Active Directory accounts'
- 'User Collections | Manage mail routing'
- 'User Collections | Migrate User Data | Migrate users' (mail data, archives including online archives, PST and personal address books)

• Repeat operations on the same objects do not consume any additional licenses.
• Groups provisioning do not consume any licenses.

A license "Usage Details" report can be obtained from the MNE Migration Manager in order to determine which users have consumed an MNE license and what MNE operation initially consumed that license:

1.) Open the MNE Migration Manager.

2.) Click Project View on the left-hand pane.

3.) Click the "Usage Details" botton.

This will generate a report, that can be exported to a TSV file, to show which users have licenses, date they consumed a license, and what MNE operation consumed the license.
