Many emails are being sent regarding the VMWare ESX server total latency for disk access, though the latency levels are within acceptable levels.
Some customer environments may not experience significant issue with the latency levels that are defined in the default alarm thresholds.
Before changing alarm thresholds, confirm there is no degredation of service at the levels at which alarms are being generated.
