Need to recreate the InTrust_Alerts_DB -
Description
The InTrust_Alerts_Db has grown past the point where the size can be managed or reduced with InTrust or SQL tools. -
Cause
Neither an Alert Database Cleanup job or SQL Server Shrink job can reduce the size of the InTrust_Alerts_DB once the database object exceeds a certain size. -
Resolution
This can be remedied by simply deleting the old alerts_db and creating a new one:
1. Stop the InTrust services
2. Delete the InTrust_Alerts_DB
3. Create a new InTrust_Alerts_DB
4. Ensure the InTrust service account has DBO role on the newly created InTrust_Alerts_DB
5. Restart the InTrust services. The InTrust Real-time Monitoring will execute the required scripts against the database to prepare it for usage.
