Steps:

Please follow the below steps to create an XML Index for SQL Server...

1. Right-click a table and select XML index Properties

2- Confirm the correct table is selected from table drop-down

3- Click the new icon to create index...

4- Define any properties needed for the index

5- Click Close to create the index
