Error "Registration failed " in LiteSpeed Registration Module after entering trial/demo or permanent license key
Incorrect value in License key field
The reasons for 'registration failed' error when entering registration key:
PERMANENT and TEMPORARY KEYS:
1. The activation key was provided from one machine and then registration key was applied to a different server; unless specifically created as "enterprise keys", the keys are machine specific.
2. The version of LiteSpeed is earlier then 4.6.x, since the keys for 4.5.x and earlier versions are generated different way. Advise licensing team about version of the product when requesting the license key.
3. Please note that Enterprise keys can be used only on the machines on the same domain.
4. Check if there is a new line character in the registration key. This might occur when copy and paste the key. Please save the file attached to the e-mail received from the Licensing Department and select "Load Registration Key from File"

Whenever requesting evaluation or permanent key please provide the activation key (from the Registration wizard), number of CPU’s, the server name, indicate if these are dual core CPU’s, provide exact version of the installed LiteSpeed, and 8 digit license number, if known (in the format 123-45678).
