A user has been removed and is no longer a part of your Exchange and AD Environment. Can MessageStats still generate reports based on this user?
Resolution:
Yes, the user still exists in the Messagestats database after the mailbox has been deleted from Exchange.
While the Mailbox is in an Orphaned Status in Exchange the user is still visible for selection in reports. Once the user's mailbox is past retention and purged from Exchange the user is no longer visible for selection in reports but still exists in MessageStats.
To have the user available for selection after the Mailbox has been deleted permanently from Exchange please contact Quest Software Support for assistance.
