Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
What usually is the reason for that error is when the user through which you connected to the database didnt have sysdba privs. The user SYS must be used rather than SYSTEM to configure the Spotlight user. Once it is configured please use that created or upgraded user for new connections.
Please note that alternatively you can always use manual script instead of the GUI wizard to create or upgrade your user.Scripts default location is: c:\|Program Files\Quest Software\Spotlight\Plug-ins\SoO\OracleScriptsWORKAROUND 2:
Download and install the latest version of Spotlight. -

This error usually shows with Oracle 11.0 and later.
