Spotlight crashes regularly, uptime can be anything between 20 seconds and two days but the average seems to be about an hour or so. The extended error message shows "Integer overflow" Source 02041D9D .
There does appear to be a slight change in behaviour since loading 10.3.1, the product no longer crashes completely, you can clear the error and continue.
WORKAROUND
1. Regularly restart Spotlight , like 12 hours or 24 hours;
2. If an unexpected error happens, it is better to restart Spotlight, that will prevent to cause other unexpected errors.
