LiteSpeed License key expired or not valid during Failover. -
Description
When an Active node fails over, the passive node does not read the LiteSpeed license information and returns the error License Expired or LiteSpeed Evaluation will expire in x days

Cause
The LiteSpeed registry keys holding the License information cannot be read by the SQL Server service logon account. This may have been as a result of inadequate permissions by the user account performing the installation or Failover.

Resolution
Assign full permission to the SQL Server service account logon on the LiteSpeed registry keys HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Imceda and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Imceda. -
