When I run Toad Advisor, the following warning appears: "Invalid registry path The registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest Software\LFPathTOAD points to a non-existent directory. Certain Quest Software products may not work. Set this registry key to a valid Toad installation. (Current value: ) "
The LFPathTOAD entry should be located in either registry location:
(32-bit Windows)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest Software
(64-bit Windows)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Quest Software
Ensure the value for LFPathTOAD is the path where the Toad.exe resides to launch Toad. i.e.:
C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\
NOTE: If the LFPathTOAD key does not exist, then create a new String Value from the right-click menu of Quest Software key. Once created, right-click on LFPathTOAD and select Modify. Copy and past Toad.exe path {C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle} and hit OK.
