Is it necessary to uninstall all the 64-bit DB2 clients before installing Toad for Data Analysts?
When installing Toad Data Point, the error is given and it cannot be installed:
"The Toad for DB2 installer has detected an existing 64-bit DB2 environment on your computer. This installation of Toad for DB2 includes a 32-bit DB2 client. However, DB2 does not allow both 32-bit and 64-bit DB2 environments to exist on the same computer."
DB2 does not allow both a 32bit and a 64bit DB2 environment to exist on the same computer.
In newer versions of Toad, there is a version of the installer that is available that includes a DB2 64-bit client instead of a 32 bit client for environment with existing 64bit setups. Please download and install this version if there is already a 64bit client on the system.

"Toad Data Point 3.2 <>Edition Installer (for 64-bit IBM Clients ONLY)". With this installer it is not necessary to uninstall existing 64bit clients.
Note: If you have a 32bit DB2 client already on the computer and you try to run the Toad installer that includes a 64bit client, it will error out.
