Using the Read-Only version of Toad, executing scripts via QSR or SQL plus cannot be performed. (4332422)

It is  not possible to  execute a PL/SQL Script by passing it to QSR or SQL Plus with the Toad Read-Only version.

STATUS:
The inability   to run scripts  via QSR or SQL Plus in the Read-Only version of Toad  is by design,  since it would be a security issue, when passing scripts with insert, updates or deletes to a database.   Furthermore,  QSR is not  installed with the Read-Only Toad version.   It is  only possible to run statements that don't change the data in the Editor.
