Where is stored the option "Copy text in rich text format" in View | Toad options | Editor | Behavior in the Toad files? -
Resolution
Once toad is installed, it creates the users files in C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\TOAD VERSION\User Files There you can find the file Toad.ini which contains the customer preferences.
The setting that control this is COPY_RICHTEXT (below [EDITOR_SETTINGS] ) By default it is set to 0 , but after changing this in Toad options is set to 1 like this
COPY_RICHTEXT=1
