ADPro: ODJ and DNS Suffix setting -
Description
When running a normal device cutover job, you are asked which 'Network Profile' setting you want to use. With an ODJ, you do not get asked for a 'Network Profile' setting. When we run an ODJ, the DNS suffix stays unchanged with the Source value. We need to have the 'DNS Suffix for this Connection' set to a different value (Target DNS suffix). How can we accomplish this? -
Resolution
During ODJ cutover the network settings will not be changed as part of the cutover as typically the machine will not have access to the target domain, so changing the setting will be irrelevant.
However, if this is something which needs to be done, a custom script using the set-dnsclientserveraddress command. The link below describes this in detail.
