Assigning a user a specific dashboard when they log in (4328631)

I've created a dashboard for a user and want the dashboard to display when the user logs into foglight and enters the web console.

When creating the dashboard, I created a group, and made the user a member of it. The dashboard has its Relevant Roles set to (none) and Allowed Roles set to (all). However, the user can not access the dashboard. Does the user require to be added to a different group as well?

How would I go about configuring this?

1) Provide Access to the defined dashboard:

You must provide the Relevant Roles to match the groups you set in the Allowed Roles.
The dashboard will then be shown in the Other User Dashboards section in the left-hand navigation pane.

Note the attached screenshot(s) where as the foglight user, I created a Test Rick Dashboard Access dashboard which then was available for my rick user once the Relevant Roles were set to match the Allowed Roles which were Dashboard Operator and  Foglight Operator.

2) Assign the dashboard as the default dashboard:

a) Login as the desired user which you previously provided access.
b) Select the dashboard from the Other User Dashboards section in the left-hand navigation pane.
c) Select the right-hand Action pane and click Make this my homepage on the General tab.
