Spotlight Reports ONLINE/OFFLINE Status Incorrectly -
Description
The Spotlight client and SQL Server Management Studio show opposite database online statuses. The Offline databases in Spotlight show as Online in SSMS and vice-versa. This only occurs for SQL Server 2008 connections.

Cause
This issue is caused by a product defect. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
1. Select Configure | Scheduling option2. Select the connection name from the top drop down list
3. Locate the collection name "General DB Properties".
4. Change the interval of this collection to 30 minutes or less.
STATUS
Waiting for a fix in a future version of Spotlight Enterprise. -
