Change Name of Monitored Connections -
Description
Is there a way to change the name of a connection that is being monitored in Spotlight?
For example if the names of the connections monitored are IP Addresses, but you want to change them to the named instance.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
1) Delete the current connections and re-add them. If they are SQL Server connections, you can create an alias using SQL Server.
2) Use the Hosts File to add aliases to map an IP address to a host name. This link describes the procedure in more details.
