The LogFilter simple rule does not include the User Message return code in either the rule message or the email body text.It is documented in pg 71 of 150 in OS System Guide that by default the rule is supposed to return the User_Message." In the User Message box, enter the message that the LogFilter agent should send when it encounters the message you specified with the match string." -
Resolution
The fix is to edit the rule's alarm display and 'text' rule variable to include the User_Message.
1) Rule changes for both alarm display and 'text' rule variable:
