How to manage NMSP Link Tracking Database?

From NMSP version 6.0 and above, NMSP now have the capability to analyze links in the Link Tracking Database.
Here is the feature of the Link Analyzer/Updater/Finalizer Tool:

Analyze links in the Link Tracking Database:

This analysis will find

• Number of dynamic links to migrated documents
• Number of dynamic links to unmigrated documents
• Number of static links to web-enabled Notes documents
• SharePoint documents not found

Update links in the Link Tracking Database:

If the location of your migrated documents has changed, you should update the references to these documents in the Link Tracking Database accordingly.
Examples of this include changing the external host name of your SharePoint server, changing the path for a SharePoint site, or moving your content database to a different server.

Finalize/Update links in the Link Tracking Database:

You can update your migrated documents to permanently replace all Dynamic Links with Direct Links to the last known location of the target documents, or to change the location of your Redirector Page.
If you have relocated, or plan to relocate your migrated content, be sure to update the links before you finalize them.
