Error when attempting to Virtualize an application for ThinApp using a VMWare snapshot (4322222)

When trying to convert an MSI package or EXE to a virtual ThinApp 4.6 package specifically using a snapshot on a VMWare ESX server, an error message as below may be given:

"Timeout occurred while waiting for VMWare Tools"

You may also see:

"Exception: System.UnauthorizedAccessException " 

The VMware ESX snapshot is taking too long to revert to a running state.

WORKAROUND

Please log a service request with Quest Support for a fix.
