  Getting an error "connection to SharePoint 2013 databases are not allowed" when connecting to SharePoint 2013 database from Content Matrix Console installed on SP 2019 server box

• Description

  We get below error when trying to connect to a SharePoint 2013 content DB from Content Matrix Console installed on SharePoint 2019 server.

  Error: Connection to SharePoint 2013 databases are not allowed from machines with a different version of SharePoint installed

• Resolution

  Connecting to SharePoint 2013 using a DB adapter is supported only from a server where SharePoint 2013 is installed or from a non-SharePoint 64-bit machine that has had the compatible version of the SharePoint Database Adapter configured via the Content Matrix Console installer.
