Mailboxes have been placed in an autoswitch collection, however they are not switching automatically as would be expected. The following log entry is listed after the processing of each mailbox:
IsReadyToSwitch Informational 2090 Synchronization status: Item cannot be switched before the switch date '6/14/2007 2:01:46 PM' set for collection 'First Mailbox Collection'
Where the date listed is in the future, and the "first mailbox collection" is the name of the autoswitch collection.
This issue is caused by an autoswitch collection being configured to allow for switching based on a time. If the time to allow switching is in the future, then no switching will take place until this future time is reached.
To modify the time setting, follow the below steps:
1. right click the mail collection and choose properties
2. on the workflow tab, modify the date and time entry labelled as "start switching mailboxes"
3. click OK
4. commit the changes to the collection, and validate all agents are started
