How do I interpret the IntelliProfile thresholds? The language on the dashboard makes it sound like 5% above normal is informational, 3% is warning, etc…?
How do I interpret these threshold values relative to what IntelliProfile is calculating as normal?
IntelliProfile uses data collected during a desired time period and generates a baseline operating range based on the collected metrics.
A baseline establishes expected data patterns for a given time period.
Baselines are periodically evaluated during IntelliProfile learning cycles to reflect changes in data patterns.
During operating cycles, IntelliProfile compares incoming data against the current baseline, detects deviations, and produces Informational, Warning, and Critical messages based on configurable thresholds to define the degree of deviation.

Analyzing Activity Levels with IntelliProfile
IntelliProfile is a technology that’s provided for and usable by other cartridges (originated by the DB team and used by the Performance Analysis WebView), so it doesn’t have rules of its own. Other carts, such as the Infrastructure cartridge, will make more use of IntellProfile in future releases.
