How to run version 9.7 and higher in debug mode to capture a more detailed log file. -
Resolution
On the computer where Security Explorer is installed, browse to the installation folder: The default location for 64-bit operating systems is C:\Program Files\Quest\Security Explorer.
Right click the file "SecurityExplorer.exe" and select “Send to” Desktop (create shortcut).
Modify the shortcut properties and add the /d switch to the end of the Target path:
"C:\Program Files\Quest\Security Explorer\SecurityExplorer.exe" /d
The debug log is located in the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Quest\Security Explorer\v9\Logs
