Cannot monitor Azure database using AD account when FglAM is deployed in Azure
Description
If a Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) is deployed in an Azure virtual machine, an Azure SQL database cannot be monitored using an AD (Active Directory) account using this FglAM.
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Upgrade the DataDirect driver to version 6.0
Download the latest driver Driver-v6.0.0.000263.zip attached to this KB article and unzip.
Login to the FglAM and stop the FglAM.
Go to <fglam_home>\agents\DB_Azure_Database\5.9.5.20-xxx\lib.
Move the old sqlserver-5.1.4.000236.jar,DDJDBCAuth05-5.1.4.000236.dll,DDJDBCx64Auth05-5.1.4.000236.dll to another folder for backup.
Copy the new provided jar sqlserver-6.0.0.000263.jar,DDJDBCAuth05-6.0.0.000263.dll,DDJDBCx64Auth05-6.0.0.000263.dll to the same path.
Start the FglAM.
