*Note* This workaround is only for version 8.6.0 and 8.6.1
1. In the Recovery Manager Portal installation folder, locate the following file:
QuestSoftware.RecoveryManager.AD.Enterprise.Portal.Server.exe.config
The default Recovery Manager Portal installation folder is as follows:
On a 32-bit system: %ProgramFiles%\Quest Software\Quest Recovery Manager Portal
On a 64-bit system: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Quest Software\Quest Recovery Manager Portal
2. Open the file in a text editor (such as Notepad).
3. To the element <configuration>, add the elements as shown in the next example. Insert these elements right before the </configuration> closing tag.
When you are finished, save and close the file.
<system.serviceModel>
<bindings>
<netTcpBinding>
<binding
name="EntepriseServerConnection"
transferMode="StreamedResponse"
maxBufferPoolSize="2147483647"
maxBufferSize="2147483647"
maxReceivedMessageSize="2147483647"
sendTimeout = "00:03:00"/>
</netTcpBinding>
</bindings>
</system.serviceModel>
4. Restart the Quest Recovery Manager Portal service (RecoveryMgrPortal).
The sendTimeout attribute value shown in the example above (3 minutes) should resolve the issue. If it does not, you may want to increase this value. After you do so, complete the following additional steps:
1. Use a text editor to open the EnterprisePortalSettings.xml file located in the Recovery Manager Portal installation folder.
2. Within the element <ScheduleJobHostIntervals>, locate the key named Monitor, and make sure that its value is at least several minutes greater than the one you configured for the sendTimeout attribute.
3. Save and close the EnterprisePortalSettings.xml file.
4. Restart the Quest Recovery Manager Portal service (RecoveryMgrPortal).
