"Continue with Check-in?" prompt, does not cancel check-in when 'No' is selected
Description

A procedure had been amended in the Editor. Because it was under version control, Toad prompted to save and "Continue with Check-in?". On clicking 'No' the procedure was still checked in.
Steps:
1. Check-out an object
2. Load in Editor and make a change to the object (but don't compile it)
3. Click the check-in
4. Get Prompted with "Object name is currently open and modified, and will be saved before being checked in. Continue with Check-in?"
5. Say 'No'
Object gets checked back in when it should remain checked out.
Note, however, that no revision was created

Cause

Toad has recognized that a change has been made to an object, but has not yet been compiled. The prompt is to ask if compilation and check-in are required. Clicking "No" should just cancel the check-in, but although the object does not get compiled (expected), it does do the check-in (defect)
Resolution

WORKAROUND
No new revision has been created, and the changed object has not been compiled, so simply check-out again if you want to continue working with the object, or close the Editor tab without saving.
STATUS
Fixed in version 12.11. The latest release can be downloaded here.
