How to configure this Static IP on Foglight for Virtualization Enterprise vApp.
Constant FMS and Postgresql disconnections or FMS server cannot be started, produced due to a Dynamic IP address configuration.
By default this is the network configuration on the vApp:
During vApp deploymente a static IP can be configured. If that step has been missed, please follow the steps below.
Steps on eth0:
1. Open the console of FVE Machine
2. Log in as root, password = “password”
3. Run the yast command
Use the arrow keys to select Network Devices – Network Settings
Press Enter
Tab to Device eth0 and press F4 to edit.
Tab to “Statically assigned IP Address” and press the spacebar to select.
Tab to and fill out the IP Address and Subnet Mask Fields
Press F10 to continue.
Use the arrow keys to select Hostname/DNS
Tab to Domain Name and enter your domain.
Tab to the Name Server fields and enter one or more Name Servers.
Tab back up to the top row and use the arrow keys to selectRouting.

Enter your Default Gateway and press F10 to save the changes. The changes will be applied and the network restarted.
Press F9 to Quit and return to the console.
Once you are back on the console, ping your vCenter by FQDN to ensure name server, gateway, and IP are working as expected.

Steps on private network for interface eth1:
Using above steps on eth1 interface can be used to change network settings when there are many FVE vApps running on the same vCenter. This is one example of new IP assignation:
Then make sure on Virtual machine FGLAM under FglAM_Home/state/default/config/fglam.config.xml, file configured to point to the new FMS IP address.

Note: usually this private network never get changed unless there is really a good reason to do it.
Also make sure each of the machines can connect each other, you can test it using ping command.
