How to add Active Directory Extended Attributes to Desktop Authority Validation Logic. It is possible to validate settings based on Active Directory Attributes.
Resolution
In the example below the custom variable validation logic is being set by reading the Description field in the user’s account within Active Directory. If the data in the description field matches the word “Lawyer” (without the quotes), then the setting will validate as true and be processed.
Note: A complete list of pre-defined dynamic variables may be obtained by pressing the F2 command key while on any data input field within the Desktop Authority Manager console.
