How to get the inventory of all regular database agents and SQL PI instances? -
Cause
Investigate performance issues and sizing done on the Foglight Environment(FMS) and Agent Managers(FGLAMS), including SQL PI. -
Resolution
1. Please gather on each FMS (Foglight Management Server) the inventory of all regular Databases Agents and SQL PI instances, plus the Infrastructure instances following the steps in this KB: How many agents are recommended per FglAM for database monitoring? SOL114297
Please provide the outputs to Support.
2. Also, check attached spreadsheet "Database Environment Inventory.xlsx". If you already have this information, please provide it. Otherwise, generate Support Bundles of all
the environment involved (FMS,regular Agent Managers and SQL PI Agent Managers) and provide it to Support.
