How to allow everyone in my organization to access erwin Web Portal as viewer without managing an (4300764)

Is there a way that allows everyone in my organization accessing erwin Web Portal Metadata explorer UI as  a viewer without managing user and role?

Answer:

yes.

In erwin web portal, there is a built-in feature of Role Guest. Guest user is automatically authenticated using windows LDAP login and can logon to Portal without any user setting

To do this. Please follow below

Go to Administration | Tab Groups | Create a new group Name: Guest, using metadata explorer, configuration Published

Go to LDAP, get connect to LDAP server, Tab group assignment, specify group Guest and leave all import LDAP group blank, click OK

LDAP windows user will be authenticated to Web Portal and assign Role as Guest to view access Metadata Explorer UI as viewers
