Most likely the database was shutdown with abort option.
The error generally occurs when the database is shutdown with abort option. Some of the other reasons are incorrect permissions on BDUMP, UDUMP and CDUMP directories or missing datafiles. The Shareplex processes will usually relaunch on their own so there should not be any lingering issue. Hence there may not be any action required on the part of the user. The Shareplex processes associated with the error are Capture and Read on source and Post on target.
If the processes do continue to run into this error and show no sign of progress, then Support can be contacted for further investigation.
