Oracle currently offers 4 different editions for its currently supported versions. They are Enterprise Edition, Standard Edition, Standard Edition One and Express Edition. The question arises as to whether Shareplex supports all these editions or not.

All the editions mentioned as above are built using the same common code base. The only difference between them is the number of features available in them. As far as Shareplex is concerned, we only care about the Oracle version and not the Edition when determining whether the database is supported. The INTEROPERABILITY MATRIX contains the information about the various Oracle versions supported by Shareplex and it can be found in the Release Notes for the Shareplex version in question.
