When you have multiple SharePlex instances running on the same server, you can very easily identify the SharePlex processes associated with those instances. The following output taken in a Unix environment shows you that it lists the path and other identifiers that would help you associate the particular process with a distinct instance:
$ ps -ef|grep sp_ ($ denotes OS prompt)
paul 12829 11836 0 Jul10 ? 00:00:12 /home/paul/p92139-11g/prod/.app-modules/sp_mport +PI+alvsupl14+sp_mport+0x0a01174f-0000-0001 -upaul92139-11g
paul 17653 17598 0 Jul03 ? 00:00:31 /home/paul/p9233-11g/prod/.app-modules/sp_mport +PI+alvsupl14+sp_mport+0x0a01174f-0000-0001 -upaul9233-11g

Such differentiation include the port numbers as well as the values provided upon start sp_cop using -u option, if used (the -u option is relevant to Unix).
