The "Collect group membership from all domains within the Active Directory forest" backup option cannot be disabled in a Computer Collection from the RMAD console -
Description
The "When backing up Global Catalog servers, collect group membership from all domains within the Active Directory forest" option in the "Advanced" tab of the Computer Collection Properties window is not retaining the uncheck status, thus it cannot be disabled from the GUI. -
Cause
This issue has been identified as a product defect and it will be addressed in a future product release. The Defect ID is ADO-230397. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:The following PowerShell script can be used from the RMAD "Management Shell" to uncheck the option:Set-RMADCollection -Name 'YourCollectionName' -Properties @{CollectGroupMembership=$False}To see if the check state was changed, close the RMAD console and reopen it. -
