Pre-engine or Post-engine scripts still appear on one or more domain controllers, even though they have been removed from the Manager Console

At times, a user loads in a .ps1, .kix or .vbs pre engine or post engine script on the Desktop Authority manager console. However after removing it, he may notice that the files don't get deleted from the domain controller directory where the files are uploaded to. He may be able to delete them manually, but the next time a save or a replication is done in desktop authority, the files are back again. How can he permanently get rid of these files when they are not in use anymore?

Pre-engine scripts and Post-engine scripts are stored in the "Scripts" sub-folder inside of the Desktop Authority folder. From there, they are copied into the NETLOGON folder every time someone clicks the "Replicate changed Files" button on the Desktop Authority Manager Console.

To avoid these scripts from reappearing again after they have been removed from the manager console, simply go to the Scripts sub-folder inside the Desktop Authority server and manually delete them.

The location of the "Scripts" sub-folder should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\Desktop Authority\Desktop Authority Manager\Scripts
