How to check Foglight StartDate without looking into the support bundles or RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) into Foglight server?
Resolution
There are two ways to look for the Foglight StartDate.
Workaround 1:
1. Login into Foglight jmx-console (http://<hostname:8080>/jmx-console
2. Navigate to jboss.System Object
3. Click on type=Server link
4. On the next window, look at StartDate attribute for the Foglight startup time
Workaround 2:
1. On the Foglight console, navigate to Administration | Logs
2. On the Log Analyzer dashboard, look at the File Name in which timestamp is encoded. That timestamp indicates the Foglight startup time.
