Notes private contacts are not migrated -
Description
When you migrate an address book you see that contacts marked private are not migrated. This is a new feature introduced in Lotus Notes 8.5.2 -
Cause
This is due to the security set on the private contacts Readers/Authors field. Only the user or LocalDomainServers has access to this contact. -
Resolution
Once the contact has been migrated the private flag is not kept in Outlook.
STATUS
Enhancement request TFS241155 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Notes Migrator for Exchange
WORKAROUND 1
Migrate the users address book using SSDM.
WORKAROUND 2
Add the migration ID to the LocalDomainServers group.
