After upgrading the Foglight for VMware cartridge, the component tiles in the VMware Environment dashboard are blank (display 0 values).
The VMware Explorer dashboard displays this information/data correctly.
During the upgrade procedure, there was a problem with the service topologies when they were reconfigured.
1. Go to the server with the FglAMs installed and stop the FglAM service for all FglAms that have any VMware agents on them.
2. Go to Dashboards | Administration | Cartridges | Cartridge Inventory
Search for the VMware carts. Select the Virtual-VMware-Base cartridge that is the version you are using (it should be the only one enabled). Disable it. This will take a little while and other cartridges will disable as well.
3. Go to the server with the FglAMs installed and restart the FglAM service for all FglAms that have any VMware agents on them.
4. Wait 10 minutes
5. Go to Dashboards | Administration | Tooling | Script Console
Select the Scripts tab.
Click ADD
Enter the following in the Enter Script Text Field (without quotes)
“updateVMwareFSMServiceTree()”
Click run.
Wait for the script to finish
6. Go to Dashboards | Administration | Cartridges | Cartridge Inventory
Search for the VMware carts. Select the Virtual-VMware-Base cartridge that you disabled and enable it.
