What is the difference between Toad DBA Suite for Oracle RAC and non-RAC Edition? Do we need to install both? What are the different components or products that come with them?
The Toad for Oracle product that comes in the Toad for Oracle DBA Suite and the Toad for Oracle DBA Suite - RAC Edition is actually the same.
The only difference between the two DBA Suite bundles is the Spotlight on Oracle product (one comes with Spotlight on Oracle - Standard Edition and the other comes with Spotlight on Oracle with RAC Option). So as far as Toad for Oracle, you do not need to install the two DBA Suites; either one of them will work, and Toad for Oracle will be able to connect to RAC and non-RAC databases.
