Description
The Foglight SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle database cartridges send alarm emails from Foglight in HTML format.
How can these emails be sent in a plain text format, without the HTML.

Cause
The HTML content for the Foglight SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle database cartridges are coded directly into the product. These HTML emails can be disabled from the database agent administration dashboard.

Resolution
A customization can be made to SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2 cartridge rules in the Rules Management area to include an EmailAction command to send an alarm email in a plain text format from Foglight rules.
Quest Support recommends making a copy of the rule before making customizations.
