Description
Is PI data removed from the Performance Investigator repository when a database agent is deleted from the console? -
Resolution
Database agent data is not automatically removed from the FMS (Foglight Management Server) or PI (Performance Investigator) repositories.
Topology data is purged according to Foglight retention policies unless overridden by manual actions in the console.
After deleting a database agent, the history should still be available if the agent is created using the same name and on the same FMS (and PI repository is using SQL PI) as the original agent.
