A situation may arise when a Guest User is updated by Dirsync to change the primary address from xxxx@contoso.onmicrosoft.com to the vanity domain xxxxx@contoso.com and setting the targetaddress to source xxxxx@northwind.com in Azure that the target address is automatically changed to match the primary SMTP address.
This will then cause mail delivery issues.
To resolve this create a separate workflow that runs at a set period that will update the external addresses of these Guest accounts with a condition only if the external email address contains the incorrect domain as per the below example
